We have the support of a committed professional team who have the necessary expertise and many years of experience. All of the team, thirty carvers from around the country, the Pacific and the indigenous world, several kaumātua, steel welders, drivers, riggers and kitchen staff gifted their time and energy, working long hours over the last three years towards the creation and completion of Pou Kapūa.
We are deeply appreciative of all the support and contributions made to the Pou Kapūa Project. The contributions ‘in kind’ and direct funding to cover some of the cots have created this priceless taonga. For the project to come this far, we have had the help and support of people from all over the country. Many have donated their mahi/work, goods, and services (e.g. food, accommodation, carpentry and engineering design and security)...their time and especially their aroha...Tēnā Koutou Katoa.
